Make-Up Atelier Paris Review*

So I was really excited when the guys over at Makeup-Atelier contacted me in regards to doing a review on some of their products, naturally I couldn't decline haha. I've been experimenting with make-up a lot lately where I'm trying to brush up on my skills or lack of. I've been wearing the same products year in year out with very little change or experimentation however, this is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. I can now say I've turned into a huge make-up junkie!

On to the review, in this post I'll be showing you how the products work through images and text. Don't forget to leave a comment below to let me know what you think :)

Moisturising Base - £16
Purchase Here

Although I have oily/combination skin I thought it'd be a wise a idea to choose this particular base just because the weather seems to be drying out my skin...

This moisturiser has that sort of minty scent that you find in high-end products and is super light/non-sticky, all the things I basically look for in a moisturiser. I can say that if you have dry skin this moisturiser is a match made in heaven for you! I did end up with a shiny face by the end of the night although it's meant to be sort of anti-shine but to be honest nothing keeps the amount of oil I produce on my face at bay :( (If you have a suggestion let me know).

Waterproof Liquid Foundation - £22
Purchase Here

Oh my I love this foundation. If you know me you know that it's hard for me to say that I love a foundation other than my True Match as I've been using it for about 4 years now - non stop! I went from trying this foundation to going back to my L'oreal then saying to myself "I prefer my Make-Up Atelier one" *covers face*.

The texture is actually pretty light so you don't need to use a lot but provides great coverage. Just look at my swatches below:

Amazing coverage right? Look at how grainy my hand is above compared to below... Need I say more? You have to purchase this!

Shiny Loose Highlighting Powder - £16 / #PLE1P - Moon Light

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this powder sets into the skin but still gives you that highlight us ladies all die for. Oh and not to forget how this highlighter reacts differently to your skin without makeup/with makeup is something that I've never seen before.

I didn't get to capture the true beauty of this highlighter but honestly when applied just on top of my foundation, it turned into the most beautiful sort of bronze/gold I had ever seen. Again, I was pleasantly surprised as I'd never seen a highlighter work like this before.

Longwear Lip Colour - £19.50 #Bombon & #Raisin

I've been wearing the Raisin lip colour lately and I've never seen my lips look so voulumptious in my entire life haha (peep my instagram for a little preview).

The pigment is great but I was so shocked at how quickly these crumble when you've eaten.. I was at a restaurant when I was left half Raisin and half normal lips :( Having said this, I didn't use any lip liner so this could solve my problem next time.

Waterproof Liquid Corrector & Concealer - £12.50

Now, I know what you're thinking this is a pretty dark concealer but as I grow older my circles seem to be getting darker and darker. I chose this concealer to specifically correct this problem and it works! Ever seen that youtuber use red lipstick under her eyes? Well I sort of get the same results!

Once blended in with my foundation, the concealer is unnoticeable and also blends perfectly with my NYX concealer.

Wooh! That was a lot of make-up trying - don't you agree? I'll definitely be incorporating some more beauty posts within my blog, let me know if there's anything in particular that you'd like to see.

Have you used any Make-Up Atelier Products before? Would love to hear your thoughts below!
