I nearly didn't do this post simply because of the terrible service I received from MUA's delivery & social media team. However still wanted to do this review as I have been meaning to try the Luxe Velvet Lip Laquers for a while now. I have one of the latest additions added to their collection swatched for you, so I truly hope you enjoy reading this post and hearing my thoughts on these products if you haven't tried them.
So the colours I'm reviewing today from left to right; Kooky, Tranquillity (with one L) and Vivacity.
To be honest I wasn't sure what I'd be getting through the post. I searched high and low on the internet for swatches, videos you name it of colours that would probably suit me but found people's swatches were different for many reasons. *Swatches below*
On application, the lip laquers seem very glossy, but I kid you not once these set they are matte as hell - almost too matte for me. The pigment of these laquers are amazing considering the not so hefty price tag of £3, yes that's correct... just three pounds!
So first up... Tranquility - Purchase here
Let me first excuse my skin, I have minimal makeup on and so my skin just doesn't look like it usually does. Anyway, I was very sceptical about this shade if I'm honest. I don't usually do nude lipsticks as they suit my lip & skin tone way too much. I feel like with lighter or darker skin the shade stands out, however with my skin the colour tends to blend in. On the contrary, I was surprised that when I tried this shade of nude I actually liked it... I'ts actually the only one I've worn out, out of three so far. I find though, if you have dry lips like me, this shade can intensify the dryness and show any flaking so make sure you prep your lips first - I thought I did but clearly not enough. I usually use lip liner and a gloss with this colour but for photo purposes wanted to show you what it looked like without :)

This is one of the most popular colours that I see bloggers raving about, which is perfect for the Autumn season. I don't know how often I'll wear this but it's definitely good to have in the collection!

Now, if you know me you'd know I live for bright pink lip shades, however a 100% matte one I haven't really come across. This is one of MUA'S latest additions - not really sure why as this isn't a autumnal shade, but still, I love it! As you can see MUA have changed the packaging with the newer colours - which packaging do you prefer?
What I love about these lipsticks is the fact that are affordable compared to the many brands out there, the quality is great for the price and they look good. The only downside for me is at first the product feels a little sticky and later can make your lips dry out a little - apart from that ladies, go crazy and buy all the shades if you can!
