Firstly let me just apologise for being MIA, I've been so hectic with the planning of the #BloggingGalsParty which I hope to see some of you at!
Anyway, today I wanted to share with you my sudden love for Rose Gold jewellery. In previous years I had never owned a piece of jewellery this tone, so it's very new to me. I guess there's so much hype around Rose Gold things, from Zoeva's make-up brushes to Ted Baker's heels - we've become a nation obsessed with Rose Gold! From a young age I've always loved wearing jewellery. Being half Moroccan I've grown up with lots of influence around jewellery in general especially gold. I remember once shopping for a real gold belt (view examples here) for my step mothers wedding back in the 90's and was completely stunned by the piece - I've never seen something so beautiful!
On to my favourites at the moment...
When it comes to jewellery I'm no longer a fan of fashion pieces, unless it's a statement necklace. I think I'm just maturing a bit and have come to appreciate the meaning behind pieces and how elegant they can look too. If you know me, you'll know that I love a bit of arm candy. You'll usually catch me in a pandora (with no charms) or my silver beaded hamsa bracelet from Morocco. Today, you'll probably catch me in one of Ninu's pieces a brand that offers authentic Austrian jewellery pieces to their customers. As you can probably tell, I love crystals embedded into my jewellery pieces.. I think it makes for more of a feminine touch and that's exactly what Ninu offers.
The necklace below is from a brand called Astrid & Miyu who work with designers to bring customers high-quality costume jewellery. Although these pieces are costume, they look very sophisticated in every aspect. I love my initial necklace from Astrid & Miyu which costs only £32! You can purchase this exact piece here - I'm also pictured wearing it above.
The Zora bangle is my absolute go-to at the minute! I love to wear this with any outfit especially when I'm heading to meetings, it just gives it that extra special sass! You can save £10 on this bangle here (comes in gold, and silver) - The Zola bangle is also quite similar but very unique in its own way.
Now on to this gem! I am ever so grateful for this piece that NINU sent me as not only is it beautiful but it comes in at a whopping £130 (shop Apryl here). Now when it comes to shoes and handbags, I honestly do not care for spending much (only if I REEEEAAAALY need it) - but as for jewellery I always see it as an investment. It's something you can pass down on to children/grandchildren and depending on the market could be double or triple its worth (that's the part I love haha).
So those are my favourite jewellery pieces at the moment guys! What do you think? Who thinks I should wear Apryl to the #BloggingGalsParty?
