Staple Hair & Beauty Products

Tuesday, 3 July 2012

Sorry guys, I know I promised a staple post on hair & beauty products the other day and didn't get round to doing it (sorry).

Okay so I'll start off with hair. Hair at the minute is so important to me, I am obsessed with long hair and obssesed with growing mines long. I know it takes time and effort and the right attitude to grow long hair so I guess its a journey that will take some time.

My staple hair products:
1. Tresemme naturals conditioner - I use this as a shampoo/conditioner and also use this for my wash and go's! It moisturises, leaves hair soft and defines curls

2. Cantu shea butter - When I see my ends splitting severely, I use this as a recovering treatment.

3. Eco styler Gel (Olive oil) - Just today I read that this gel stimulates hair growth (I wouldn't really expect that from a gel) It has great hold but can leave hair quiet hard

4. TLC Grow It hair cream - I would like to see some growth so have started to use this cream on a daily basis alongside almond oil

5. Pure olive oil from Morocco - I love pure oils, they make my hair feel so healthy!

My staple beauty products:
1. Every morning I apply clean and clear blackhead cleanser. I don't have blackheads but I love the way this cleanser cleanses the face

2. Body shop body butters - I use all the scents on my face as well as body

3. Maybelline satin liquid foundation - This is meant to give an airbrushed effect but it doesn't even cover the the face properly. For full coverage and a sleek look I use MUA pressed powder shade #4 (only £1) and wow it gives you a flawless finish!

4. Maybelline cat eyes mascara - I love the way this mascara almost shapes your eyes and lengthens your eyelashes

5. Rimmel London eyebrow pencil - one of the best eyebrow pencils out there! Comes with a brush so you can shape your eyebrows

6. Collection 2000 mosaic glow - I hate pink blushers, they do not suit me so I use this mosaic glow to give me this nice tanned finish

Others: Lipsticks - Rimmel London/Maybelline, Use eye shadows to highlight corner of eyes and underneath eyebrows, Eyeliner - Gosh, Gosh primer.

As you can see I do not fork out loads of money on make up, I am no where near professional and use what works best for me. All of my makeup is from superdrug...
